Kodak Playsport 1080P Audio Issue

This is a camera that I purchased on 4.3.2010 and it was a return at Best Buy in Salem, NH. Well after stress testing the camera, I ran into a right channel audio issue and heat coming from underneath the lens on the front of the camera. I am going to return it and see what Best Buy tells me. I like the quality of video, but I want to make sure that there are not any other issues like possible HW issues as to why the audio went bad. It's a good thing I am just using this camera for b-roll stuff... Another note, it originally had FW version 1.01 and I updated to FW 1.03. I am hoping that they will send it back to Kodak and get something resolved. I had an 8GB SDHC Class 4 memory card installed.
